An ancient ammonite fossil held in solid .925 Sterling Silver super chunky band. Decorated with barnacle growth. This band is adjustable and open at the back however it is thick and will not bend easily or get caught.
Millions of years ago they traversed the seas, now they remain only in fossils found all over the world. Related to modern day squid and octopus, these creatures built chambers as they grew aiding their buoyancy.
Each of the ammonite pieces in the Ancient Waters Collection have an open back so not only can you see the beautiful opalescent outer layer of the fossil, but the warm glow when the light shines through the chambers.
